About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate team member with the analytical bent of
mind and effective communication skills to analyze and be responsible for monitoring
all of AP and its affiliates Human Resource & Admin functions. They prepare
compensation and benefit packages, onboard qualified and eligible team members, set
up company policies, maintain updated employee records and ensure a healthy work
environment by providing human resources procedures.
The HR & Admin Specialist shall be responsible for performing duties such as
preparing and reviewing compensation and benefit packages, administering health
and life insurance programs, implementing training and development plans, assisting
accounting in payroll and other employee compensation matters. To be a successful
HR Specialist, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting or
onboarding and solid knowledge of CNMI labor legislation. Additionally, is
responsible for daily administrative tasks assigned by Owners, Execs, and Managers.
Reports directly to Executives.

An HR & Admin Specialist helps improve efficiency by identifying areas that can be
improved, strengthening processes where necessary, and fosters a healthy work
environment by ensuring our HR & Admin procedures run smoothly and
communicating findings with those they work closely with throughout AP and all its
affiliates.

Ultimately, you will work directly with other team members to assist them in projects
and general tasks within the office and the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Handle Office Admin Daily Duties
● Handle HR Daily Duties
● Assist in Accounting Admin duties
● Preparing and reviewing compensation and benefits packages
● Administering health and life insurance programs
● Implementing training and development plans
● Plan quarterly and annual performance or evaluation review sessions
● Inform employees up-to-date about any revisions regarding benefits they’re eligible for
● Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
● Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
● Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
● Keep track of employees working hours and ensure accurate record keeping of
leaves taken for AP and all its affiliates.
● Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
● Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
● Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation, federal and state laws.
● Follow and comply with all established policies and procedures.
● Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
● Detail oriented with strong organizational, process improvement, and problem solving skills.
● Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
● Reporting and progress updates to respective Managers or Executives
● Process visa applications for US-qualified applicants or foreign workers.

Qualifications:
● Minimum, Associates degree in human resources, or a relevant field.
● Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist
● Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems
● Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
● Strong knowledge and understanding of federal and state labor legislation and
payroll process
● Familiarity and good understanding of the full recruitment cycle
● Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent problem-solving and team management abilities
● Experience with compliance issues in a health insurance environment and
think analytically.
● Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and work well within a team.
● Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
● Detail oriented with strong organizational, process improvement, and problem
solving skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of
management.
● Has general knowledge in the business sector and how processes work
● Previous experience in office administration
● Ability to work full-time
● Ability to work independently and with others within a fast-paced environment
● Ability to multitask responsibilities and projects
● Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
● Proficiency in general clerical tasks such as filing, documenting, answering
phones, etc.
● Fluency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite and project management
softwares

Minimum Required Qualifications:
● English Speaking
● Strong knowledge and understanding of federal and state labor legislation and
payroll process
● Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems
● Experience following Standard Operating Procedures precisely
● Experience writing and/or following Standard Operating Procedures
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite experience
● Must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent
● Must have 1-2 years work experience as an HR & Admin Officer, HR Admin
Assistant or similar position
