About the Role
AP Group is hiring for our affiliate company, Marianas Pharmacy LLC, a community
pharmacy located in Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands. We are looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team and offer superior customer service. The main responsibilities will be taking care of customer transactions, developing relationships with customers and maintaining inventory.
The Certified Pharmacy Technician is an integral part in our day-to-day operations; they not only focus on medical services but also act as a leader and teacher for others in the company. In order to be a successful candidate, you must display excellent communication skills and an affinity for great customer service. You must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
● Accept and evaluate prescriptions or refill requests
● Record medical histories and verify accuracy of patient information while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
● Deliver quality service to patients and providers
● Respond to inquiries, questions, or requests, and refer patients and providers to the pharmacist for medical information
● Process patient insurance and prior authorizations
● Support pharmacy services by assembling and labeling medications
● Maintain pharmacy inventory by performing audits, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
● Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy
● Comply with procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
● Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
● Maintain records by organizing and filing physicians’ prescriptions

Minimum Required Qualifications:
● Have an active Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the CNMI
● Excellent communication skills
● The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks
● Basic pharmacy math skills
● Customer service experience
● Experience in a fast paced work environment
● Prefer experience using EnterpriseRx
